Clean periodically by using a clean, soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Blot spills shoud be cleaned immediately and wiped with a clean, damp cloth. Do not recommend the use of chemicals cleaners, abrasives or furniture polish on our finish. No harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning materials. Care should not be carried out near open flame or with burning cigarettes. Avoid direct sunlight and heat to protect the finish For Shagreen only: Basic cleaning with a dry cloth should be done as soon as possible once a spill occurs - do not let spills. Follow up with a damp cloth, and finally dry the surface once more with a soft, dry cloth. If debris lingers in the grain of the faux shagreen, dip a tooth brush into clean water and brush the dirt out using the toothbrush. Follow by drying with a soft, dry cloth. Use of placemats and coasters is recommended to protect the finish. Do not subject the table top to direct heat or sunlight
